Fees and Payment Policies
UWISE.BIZ is a private consulting firm, established to make available a unique set of self-employment services of proven effectiveness that are not offered by other business resources. We provide services to agencies and other entities whose clients or consumers may have an interest in self-employment, as well as directly to prospective business owners. We charge an hourly rate that is significantly below market rate for services requiring similar levels of expertise, qualifications, and experience. UWISE.BIZ is not funded by grants or charitable donations; we receive no money from foundations.
For both agency staff or private pay individuals, we are happy to discuss individual needs and circumstances, answer questions, and if desired, we can help you select services that appear to fit for you or your client. We are approved vendors for the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (brochure for VR Counselors) and the Utah Department of Workforce Services. We are still in negotiations with the Division of Services to People with Disabilities. Individuals can discuss their needs and we can provide them with information about our services that may benefit you, as well as entities that can purchase some or all of our services for eligible individuals as third party payers.
We require an authorization in hand to start work with VR clients.
If you decide to work with us, we will outline services you will pay for yourself in a work agreement that you and we will sign before work begins. UWISE.BIZ invoices monthly, providing a detailed accounting of services rendered.
